Wednesday Walk 30 November, 2022

The best way to avoid those mid week blues is to join us midweek at the main entrance of
The Westgate Gardens for an 8:30am start.
Three of us ventured out last week and probably recorded the shortest walk in the Striders
long history. We walked along the river path, down stream, towards the Causeway and
then onwards to Northgate’s finest coffee house, the Fringe + Ginge.
It was agreed an early coffee was a better idea than nonstop rain.
See you midweek…………..

Wednesday Walk 23 November, 2022

We will meet as usual near the main entrance to the Wesgate Gardens for an 8:30am start.

The walk last week was called off because of heavy rain. This is the first time this has been
necessary. In future if the weather looks grim check your inbox at 7:45 to see if the walk is
to go ahead.
Obviously no pics from last week but attached is a photo of the Westbere Marshes where the
beavers have apparently set up home. There has not been any Strider sightings as yet but we
may include the marshes in future walks in the hope we’ll see one of the little creatures pop
their head out of the water.
See you midweek………
