Last week’s Kingston, Goodnestone, Wingham Walk:

Wednesday Walk 31 May, 2023

Next Wednesday marks the 185 anniversary of the Battle in Bossenden Wood.

A circular walk starting from the church at Herne Hill where most of the victims of the battle are buried is an option.
The start of the walk is just a ten minute drive. For this week only could you please let me know if you intend to
join the walk so I can try and organise car travel arrangements. Please let me know as soon as possible on barrywillcox@icloud.com
I’ll send further details of the walk on Monday once I know the level of interest.
Sean and I have been campaigning for a permanent memorial in the church and cathedral for sometime, unfortunately not achieved so far.
