Slightly shorter walk this week but a longer SSS walk on Tuesday (15th) should compensate those wanting a longer mileage fix.

North Holmes Road, through town, West Station tunnel to St Stephen’s Green, The University, Cycle Path to Harbledown and then back via the Castle and Lansdown Road.

Thursday – 10 August, 2017 @ 8:00 Faversham to Whitstable (packed lunch)

Packed Lunch – to be eaten en route

Meet at Canterbury East Station to catch 09:09 train, arriving in Faversham (£3.55 with Railcard).

Walk through Faversham and then follow the Saxon Shore Way along the east bank of Faversham Creek to Nagden Marshes. Continue along the SSW along the south bank of the Swale to the Sportsmen Inn and on towards Seasalater. Follow the shore to Whitstable West Beach where there is the possibility of a swim. Then on into Whitstable for coffee/tea at Tea & Times.
