Meet at Canterbury Bus Station to catch No 43 (Sandwich) Bus at 8:36 Bay D3 – Cost £3:90

On arrival at Ash we take the path to Wingham then, Goodnestone; Aylesham; Nonnington; Barfrestone and then Sibertswold where we catch the train back to Canterbury East:
Trains from Sibertswold to Canterbury East:
14:28; 15:28; 15:58; 16:28; 17:28 Cost £4:05 with Railcard (or if we travel as 4 or more together).

Meet Canterbury East Station to catch 08:40 train to arrive at Sibertswold (aka Shepherdswell) at 8:58 (£6.20).

Route: Elvington, Tilmanstone, Betteshanger, Eastry, Hammil, finishing at Ash where we catch the bus back to Canterbury:

Thursday 17 March 2022 – Villages walk, anti-clockwise

Meet at K&C Hospital, South Canterbury Road entrance, at 8.30am.

We will go out past the rugby ground through Nackington, Whitehill Woods, skirt Lower Hardres, Bridge, Patrixbourne, bypass Littlebourne through Lower Garrington Farm, Ickham, Wickhambreaux, Stodmarsh, Fordwich and home along the cycle route to Canterbury.

About 14.5 miles, plenty of Church stopping off points for a snack on the way if you want to bring something.

Thursday, 10 March, 2022 – Canterbury Northern Circle

Lunch stop – packed lunch and something to drink advised

Meet outside St Augustine’s Abbey, Longport at 8:30 am

Walk over to North Holmes Road, St. Radigunds, West Station Roundabout, through the tunnel and onto St Stephen’s Green then across to Hales Place and onto the footpath through Hackington towards Alcroft Grange then South to North through West Blean Nature Reserve then working across Sheepfold, the Golf Course, later crossing Radfall Road at Chestfield. We then head South through Clowes Wood towards Amery Court, later we cross into Church Wood and make our way to Rough Common, then the footpath back to St Dunstan’s and into the City.
Approx. 15 miles.
