Last week’s The Stuppington & Nunnery Circle:

Wednesday Walk – 10 April, 2024

Meet at the main entrance to the Westgate Gardens at 8:30am for a two hour walk followed by coffee at a city centre cafe.

The weather forecast is for light rain and a moderate breeze.  The weather permitting the walk will head towards Rough Common. The Sarre Penn will be our companion for a short distance but Giles Lane and Hales Place is our route back to the city.  A truncated walk last week because of rain. We were cutting across the cemetery on our way to Rough Common when inclement weather set in. The shortest route was taken to the cafe at the Gulbenkian. Coffee and pastries were enjoyed until we dried out and the rain stopped.
The pic taken the previous week is of Abdi welcoming the wood anemones arriving for their spring time showing.
